From March 17–23, 2026, the Living Hope Festival outreach brought a visible, hope-filled Gospel witness to Chiang Rai, Thailand—where nearly 99% of the population identifies as Buddhist. In partnership with local churches and ministries, this week was not just a single event but the result of a year of prayer, relationship-building, leadership development, and shared vision.
Across villages, prisons, children’s homes, women’s gatherings, business meetings, and festival spaces, the Gospel was shared clearly and compassionately. Creative expressions—such as contextualized drama, live digital art, BMX demonstrations, gaming, free food, haircuts, and Thai neck massages—created natural opportunities for conversation, care, and prayer. These culturally meaningful approaches helped communicate the unchanging message of Jesus in ways people could genuinely receive.
The impact was significant: 6,849 people were reached and trained, with 499 responding in salvation and 128 recommitting their lives to Christ. Each number represents a personal story—someone seen, loved, and invited into new life.
The week also built momentum among younger leaders and digital creators. Through Next Gen engagement and the launch of the Red Thread digital evangelism initiative, emerging Thai voices were equipped to use their platforms for lasting Gospel impact.
Above all, this week demonstrated what God can do through unity, humility, and faithful partnership. We continue to pray that every conversation and response will bear lasting fruit through strong follow-up in local churches—and that hope will continue to rise across Chiang Rai.

We used creative ideas to bring people to the festival. By offering free haircuts and relaxing massages, we gave attendees a reason to stop by and enjoy some unique self-care.

A group of elderly residents at a care facility listens intently as the team shares the Gospel. Beyond food supplies, the heartfelt prayers and encouragement brought much-needed comfort to those facing physical, emotional, and mental challenges.

We connected with young people by bringing gaming to the heart of the event. Through interactive video game stations, our team created a fun, high-energy space that naturally paved the way for Gospel conversations.
