According to a recent study from the Fuller Youth Institute, which looked at 500 young adults, over 70 percent of churchgoing youth report having serious doubts about faith. Sadly, less than half of them shared their doubts and struggles with a mentor or friend. However, it was found that opportunities to express and explore their doubts were actually correlated with greater faith maturity. Communication and relationships in a technology├óÔé¼┬Édriven culture are so important. We will share how creating spaces for youth and families to enjoy the things they love have opened up opportunities to share the Gospel. Sticky community spaces allow deeper conversations to naturally leave a lasting impact and create safe places where relationships can be built and faith can happen.
Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,” and yet in today’s culture Jesus is often relegated to one of the many gods and options in a spiritual smorgasbord. How do we talk about the uniqueness of Jesus? How do we introduce people to Jesus? How do we speak about the one true God?
With mobile devices in hand, the average person scrolls their news feeds roughly 72 feet per day and consumes upward of 5.7 words per second. As a ministry, how can we stand out amidst so much information? A part of the solution can be found in putting the social back into social media. In this workshop, we’ll get back to basics and discuss what people really want and how you can stand out in the crowd. We can always discuss how to use social media, but do we remember why we are using social media?

Today, it seems 80 percent of younger generations are never more than 10 feet away from their mobile phones. It’s as if they are inviting us to communicate with them. In this workshop Sean Dunn will explore messaging and delivery methods that are working to engage the hearts of the lost through these spaces and how to measure the impact of digital evangelism.
The first job of the evangelist is to tell people about Christ, but the responsibility of the evangelist is more than communicating the message. Leaving follow-up to the local church alone does not ensure we will make disciples. City-wide outreaches are made so much more effective when discipleship programs are employed. With this simple addition to your outreach, the fruit will be multiplied dramatically.
Advance groups are designed to equip, encourage, and empower evangelists through monthly mentoring sessions. In this workshop Ben Jack will walk through how the groups work and how you can get one started to support and sharpen you as an evangelist and to see others grow in their gifting.
