We are rejoicing over the Connect PDX Conference. Multiple members said it was our best conference ever. The plenary speakers were inspiring and the 36 workshops were outstanding. The evangelists who attended were blessed, affirmed, and valued by the team. There were many opportunities to network, which has already resulted in future collaborative efforts.

“I’ve been a part of NGA since 2006. This was by far the most beneficial and encouraging conference that I’ve been to. A huge thank you to the Palau team for doing such a great job in encouraging and inspiring evangelists to continue to stay the course.” -Tim

“I was so blessed and encouraged! I love Luis Palau and Nga Palau! They truly serve as Jesus served and love you from the heart! They see me like Jesus sees me!” -Martishia

“Was so honoured to be part of the Connect PDX conference last week, launching Advance groups across North America and hearing from the legend that is Luis Palau…” -Ben

“I am so thankful that I went forward and registered and attended the conference. The speakers, the breakout sessions, the fellowship with other evangelists was awesome!” -Susanna

“What a blessing this week has been at the Connect PDX Conference! I’m encouraged by the amazing ministers I’ve met in the past few days and their love for Jesus. In particular, Luis Palau’s joy and love for God touched my heart and is really inspiring: a man that was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer almost two years ago, yet doesn’t let it stop him from sharing the love of God, and joyfully encouraging the evangelists coming after him to carry out the calling in their lives. I’m certainly overjoyed by the love and genuine support I received from the Nga Palau team this week. I look forward to what the future holds as we obey God’s calling for our lives!” -Ana

Luis Palau and his ministry have shared the Gospel with hundreds of millions of people through evangelistic events and media around the world. He has spoken in person to more than 30 million people in 75 countries, with more than 1 million registered decisions for Jesus Christ.

Pastor Miles McPherson played four years in the NFL with the San Diego Chargers from 1982-1985. It was during this time that he developed a cocaine addiction that found the NFL star reduced to regularly visiting the seedy neighborhoods of San Diego to feed his habit. In 2000, he felt called by God to start the Rock Church in San Diego. According to Outreach Magazine, the Rock has consistently been one of the nation’s largest churches with over 20,000 people.

Greg Stier is an unlikely candidate to lead a ministry like Dare 2 Share. In 1991, Greg’s calling led to the founding of Dare 2 Share (D2S)—a ministry dedicated to reaching teenagers for Christ. When the tragic 1999 Columbine High School shooting happened just minutes from D2S’s office, Greg resigned from a pastorate at a local church to zero in on the urgent mission of D2S.

Carrie Boren Headington is the Founder of the Good News Initiative, equipping congregations to share the good news of Jesus Christ in word and deed. Carrie speaks nationally and internationally as an evangelist and apologist. Carrie is a graduate of Yale, Harvard and Oxford Universities with degrees in theology and Christian apologetics. Carrie is the Canon Evangelists for the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, an author on evangelism, and an adjunct professor for evangelism at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Pat Palau, wife of international evangelist Luis Palau, has enjoyed a growing sphere of ministry in recent years, both on her own and in conjunction with the Luis Palau Association. To women in Bible study groups, retreats, conferences, and other meetings, she effectively presents biblical truths, her life as an evangelist’s wife, and her struggle with cancer.
