2024 Impact Report

As we come to the close of another fruitful year, we celebrate the work that God enabled us to do. It has been a year of grace, growth, and impact made possible through Him. We started 2024 by committing it to the Lord, and He has faithfully enabled us to accomplish even more than we could have imagined!
For the GNE team, another year in His service meant walking in purpose. Our purpose was fulfilled in partnering with you, equipping evangelists and those passionate about evangelism, raising up young evangelists, mentoring and training those who are thirsty to delve deeper, expanding our reach and connecting with the unreached, galvanizing our GNE community to do more through collaboration, and seeing the hand of God at work in transforming lives for His glory.
Celebrate with us!
Global Network of Evangelists now has 4108 members from 92 countries around the world,
and country networks in 118 nations
A New Generation of Leaders
In a world where their peers are searching for meaning and truth, young believers have taken up the mantle of pointing others to Jesus. Through GNE’s Emerging Evangelist Collective, groups made mostly of Gen Z are being mentored and equipped to become evangelists in their own right. They are also leading events in their regions, and it is encouraging to see what young people can do when they trust God with the outcomes and focus on being obedient to His calling. We started off the year in Atlanta, where GNE and other collaborators sponsored a Pre-Passion worship gathering. There were several other events where our emerging evangelists participated in and/or led including Carry the Love, partnerships with the How to Life Movement, P100 Emerging Evangelists lunch, Redeemed Teens, Berkshire Winter Retreat, and an Emerging Female Evangelists Retreat.

The Harvest is Ready
At GNE mission trips in partnership with churches in Eastern Ukraine, the message was shared to refugee groups made up of mostly women and children. We started off the year with 5 evangelistic events and church planting initiatives in Chernivtsi, Mykolaiv, and Kherson. 99% were non-believers and there were approximately 200 gospel responses. Other missions in Europe were held in Seville, Cluj-Napoca, Kiev, and Onesti. Throughout the year in Ukraine, GNE and its partners in the gospel reached widows of war, refugees, youth, and wounded soldiers who made the decision for Christ in their numbers. Other events included the Gather Movement Summit and the Northern Evangelism Summit which took place in the United Kingdom.

This year, we also had a successful South Asia tour. Desmond Henry and Ben Jack of the Message Trust met with key leaders from 30 denominations in Columbo, Sri Lanka to encourage, equip, and mobilize believers for God’s mission. The tour carried on to Kathmandu, Nepal.
An exploratory tour was also held in West Africa, specifically Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Benin, and Burkina Faso with the aim of working together with churches. There is greater impact in coming together – united by one message and one mission – as God leads us in the efforts of soul winning. We look forward to seeing what these relationships will bring in the next couple of years.
It’s been a big year for festivals!
Nueva Generación de Evangelistas (NGE), the arm of GNE that serves Latin America, organized Festival Ahuachapún in El Salvador that reached 13,529 people with 1,007 making the decision to follow Christ! A team of 40 people from various ministries and organizations came together to saturate the city with the Gospel. Festival Ahuachapún was a testament to the power of collaborative action to make tangible differences in communities, bringing hope and restoration to those need.” Read more about Festival Ahuachapún here.

Indeed, the impact of collaborative outreaches remains unmatched. We saw that clearly in Zambia.
In 2024, GNE’s largest campaign – the Love Zambia Festival – was held in the cities of Kalulushi, Mufulira, Chingola, and Ndola before the main festival with Andrew Palau in Lusaka. Evangelism training events were also held in these cities, including Kapiri Mposhi and our first ever Frontier Mission in the Lukulu region. The team reached a staggering 376,808+ Zambians and 67,015 made first time commitments. We also distributed 37,618 Gospels of John to encourage the new believers to stay in the Word. GNE also partnered with 2,579 churches through which the new believers will be nurtured to grow their faith and find community. In our time in Zambia, we also commissioned 13,292 Advance Groups which provide community for gospel-passionate believers who would like to grow their calling as evangelists. Read the Zambia Praise Report and marvel at what God did in the Southern African nation.

Building Up Believers
As part of the affinity events that gear us up towards festivals, we held special training to equip the church leaders and volunteers who partnered with us. The Innovative Evangelism Masterclass is a learning experience is for believers eager to enhance their confidence in sharing the Gospel and to effectively prepare for the upcoming festival outreach. Around 4,000 leaders received the training. For the pastors and church leaders, the Renew Conference reinvigorated them with fresh biblical insights and perspectives along with practical strategies to impact their communities. We were humbled by their readiness to implement what they learnt in their respective capacities and positions.

Three GNE Regional Connect Conferences took place in North Carolina, Washington, and Lausanne in 2024. The gatherings aim to bring together members and evangelists to reconnect and share best practices. Next year, we plan to hold more regional gatherings in collaboration with members. If you are considering partnering with GNE and hosting a Regional Connect in your area, send an email to gne@palau.org

Creating and curating resources is another way we equipped evangelists this year. The GNE website has a rich trove of articles, videos, recordings, and quizzes that affirm and encourage those passionate about evangelism – and they are all free! In partnership with Lausanne Movement, GNE also produced the Global Classroom on Proclamation Evangelism, a 14-part episode series aimed at strengthening, informing, and producing more gospel fruit in those seeking to advance their proclamation evangelism efforts. Furthermore, at Lausanne 4 in Seoul, South Korea, Desmond Henry gathered thought leaders in evangelism to produce the Elevating Evangelism Series (full series to be released soon).

You Made This Possible
God’s heart is for ALL people to come to Him. When the Church is united, it becomes a powerful instrument in His hands to reach the lost and proclaim the kingdom. A united Church propels God’s mission forward and that is why in mobilizing our member evangelists, we encourage collaborative action. In 2024, these key partnerships with our members enabled us to reach multitudes, to mentor young evangelists, and to achieve more all because they made the decision to be active participants in the network and to #beGNE.
We look forward to what God has in store for us for 2025!
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21).
To God be all the glory!
